Valentines for Good, happening this Thursday at Reds Bar and Tapas, is part of The Good Capitalist, a social event series hosted for people interested in making positive social change. The point is to connect social entrepreneurs, philanthropists, local change makers, and mainly, people that want to do good things, in a festive atmosphere to meet and exchange ideas and hear inspiring stories.  

 

"I love you," is asking for some action. Instead of purchasing chocolates, gifts, and cards that are possibly sourced from unfair labor practices and unsustainable conditions this Valentine's Day, support our local businesses (Chocolate Maya, Tabletop Made, and Plum Goods to name a few...) that are giving back to our local community.
