Occassionally, LOVEmikana e-mails will get blocked or marked as Junk Mail by your e-mail program. To ensure the delivery of your LOVEmikana e-mails, login to your e-mail system and add sbskinny@lovemikana.com to your email address book, contacts or safe senders list.

How do I unsubscribe from one or more editions?
Change your e-mail address, modify your subscriptions, or create a new password on your account page. To get to your account page, please login and click the "edit my profile" link on the top right side of every page.

How do I change my e-mail address?
Please login and visit your profile page with your old e-mail address and use the form to change it to the new one. This will transfer your subscription to the new address.

LOVEmikana is a free daily email newsletter and website that brings you the “Santa Barbara skinny” … a little love each day about the latest and greatest in art, culture, food, eco-trends, fashion and more in the Santa Barbara area.

We love hearing about good ideas, especially from our biggest fans – our readers. You can use our contact us page to send us your ideas. An editor will review your idea and contact you if we want to know more.

Are stories paid for?
No way jose! We maintain an extremely strict line between editorial and advertising. Our editorial staff decides what Skinny to spread. No one can pay to be featured in a LOVEmikana editorial. We do not accept gifts. And we do not give preferential treatment to advertisers. We write about what we like, what we think our readers will like, and what we think will create buzz.

Are there jobs available at LOVEmikana.com?
Currently there are no jobs available. However as we grow we’re sure we’ll need help spreading the Skinny. So, stay tuned!

How can I search for an article?
You can search for an article by using our search engine located on our right sidebar. Just type in a few words, press “search”, and you’ll get a list of articles that contain those words. You can sort the results of your search by publication date or by relevance.

I forgot my password. How can I get it back?
To retrieve your password, go to the blue login tab on the top right side of the page. You will see a link for password retrieval.
