Whale Watching

Whale, whale, whale...
look who’s here.
Cinco de Mayo, 2009

The first blue whales of the season have been sighted, just in time for Condor Express’s new 4½-hour whale watching tour to Santa Cruz Island.   Starting yesterday, the catamaran departs daily from the harbor at 10am.  Passengers watch for the blue, humpback and grey whales as the boat makes its way to the island.  Once there, they’ll explore the inside of Santa Cruz’s Painted Cave (the world’s longest sea cave) before coming home again.

Condor Express offers sandwiches, snacks, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.  And a whale sighting is guaranteed.  If you don’t see one, you’ll get a free trip to come back again.

All’s whale that ends whale.
