In this little paradise we call home, we can hike in the mountains, swim in the ocean, and wine taste in the country, all in the same day. And no day stretches longer than Summer Solstice, celebrated (in style) this week & weekend in downtown Santa Barbara.
Wednesday night, have a food-and-wine dinner at Pierre LaFond Wine Bistro. $95 covers tax, gratuity and a donation to Solstice. Friday from 4pm-9pm, the Festival’s Opening Night takes place at Alameda Park. Saturday at noon, the colorful Solstice Parade marches down State. And finally, because we’re gonna party as long as that big ball of fire shines, the festival moves back to Alameda Park until 9pm.
Here it comes, little darlin'. Go outside and play.
