Maybe you think that offshore oil platforms and protecting the environment don't mix. But Dr. Milton Love, a research biologist at UCSB, suggests that the platforms might actually be havens for overfished marine species. The theory is a result of 14 years of research, and makes him a fish out of water to environmentalists with whom he usually agrees.
