Lawn Bowling might be Bocce Ball’s distant cousin (you can surely see the family resemblance), but the two are as different as pizza and porridge. Bocce ball is played on dirt courts with round balls. Lawn bowlers roll contoured balls down 120-foot square greens. The good news? We get the best of both worlds in downtown Santa Barbara. While Arnoldi’s offers bocce ball, Santa Barbara Lawn Bowls Club has two pristine greens, lawn bowling equipment, tournaments and free lawn bowling lessons.
