Habitat ReStore

Having Leftovers
Wednesday, August 19, 2009

What happens to the leftover building materials that aren't used at a construction site?  Habitat for Humanity hopes you'll (re)use them.  They sell salvaged and surplus materials for below retail prices. The revenue from the sales goes back to Habitat for Humanity, to build homes for low-income families.

This Saturday, from 9am - 5pm, celebrate the Habitat ReStore's one year anniversary.  There will be Do-It-Yourself workshops throughout the day, plus a BBQ, drawings, an auction, and more.

Build a relationship with Habitat for Humanity.  They do good work.
