Holiday Food Bank

 

Have an interest in helping the hungry this holiday season?  Check out how you can help: between now and December 31, the Foodbank is holding their Holiday Season Food Drive, collecting monetary and non-perishable food donations for those in need.  Beginning on December 1, deposit goods directly into the green barrels at Albertson's grocery stores throughout Santa Barbara County, and you'll be saving the holidays for people who don't know how they'll eat from day-to-day.  And on December 3, those who subscribe to the Santa Barbara News-Press, Santa Maria Times and Lompoc Record will receive special grocery bags with their paper, that will help promote the drive.
