Are you down to take a dip with the dolphins? Ocean swimming is a whole different thing than pool swimming, and the Ocean Ducks are a whole different kind of group (different strokes for different folks, you know). The Ducks meet at Butterfly Beach on Sundays, and swim out to sea in a mile-long stretch (more or less); then on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, they meet at Goleta Beach at noon and swim a little less than a mile. Nobody's racing, and everyone is welcome.
Come on out ... the water's fine.
