It's a tough world out there in Santa Barbara: every day we face difficult decisions, like, "Should I swim and run in the first Nite Moves of the season; or, should I string on my sombrero, taste tequila, and move to mariachi at the Cinco de Mayo celebration on the Canary Rooftop?" These are the things we struggle with...
So, for those of you trying to decide how to spend tomorrow night, here's a little breakdown of what's hot on Cinco de Mayo:
What: Run, Swim, Biathlon
Where: Leadbetter Beach
When: Every Wednesday from May 5 through September 1, 2010; swim starts at 6:25pm, run starts at 6:35pm
How Much: Season Pass is $249 at Active.com; single evening registration is $25 (& $20 thereafter) at Active.com or at Leadbetter Beach on May 5 beginning at 5:05pm.
What: A veritable fiesta, complete with tequila tastings, fish taco stand, 2 DJs and mariachi music
Where: Perch at the Canary Hotel
When: Wednesday, Cinco de Mayo, from 5pm - 11pm
How Much: $20 in advance, $25 at the door (includes a margarita on the house)
... Of course, you could just try to take on the whole enchilada.
