COVErt Operation
Wednesday, July 7, 2010
The Academy Award-winning documentary, The Cove, follows an elite group of eco-activists as they penetrate a secret cove in Taiji, Japan, exposing the small village that hunts dolphins, whales, and other sea creatures. Using hidden microphones and cameras, viewers get a glimpse of the cruelty committed against our eco-system, unedited and unfiltered, that's happening not just in Taiji, but all across the globe.
Attend a screening of The Cove at The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum tomorrow evening (Thursday, July 8), and stay afterward for a question-and-answer session with former "flipper" trainer, animal activist, and star of The Cove, Ric O'Barry.
You'll be amazed at the secrets hiding in The Cove.
