American Red Cross is asking you to skip your trip to the coffee shop, and donate the cup-of-joe funds to them, instead. A $5 donation will provide blankets for a family. Skip your lunch out, and donate $10 - $20. That provides a meal for someone displaced from their home, or provides training for disaster volunteers. It's all part of American Red Cross's $5 Saves a Life campaign, that's asking Americans to give up a little, and give a lot.
Wake up, Santa Barbara, and do something small, medium, or large for someone that needs it.
